1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Orders and accounts: name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and the items you order. If you create an account, your login details and order history.

Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, items viewed or added to your cart, search terms used on our Site, and the date and time of visits.
- Approximate location: city, state, and country derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to run the Site, remember your cart, measure performance, and advertise our products. See Section 5.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Fulfill orders: process payments, send your order to our production and shipping partners, and send order confirmations, shipping updates, and receipts.
- Customer support: answer questions and handle returns, replacements, and refunds.
- Abandoned-cart reminders: if you enter your email at checkout but do not finish your order, we may send you up to three reminder emails about the items in your cart.
- Marketing emails: send news, new products, and offers if you signed up or are an existing customer, as allowed by law.
- Advertising: show ads for our products on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta services, including to people who visited our Site, and to measure how well our ads perform.
- Improve the Site: analyze traffic, fix problems, and improve our products and layout.
- Security and fraud prevention: protect our store and customers from fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Legal compliance: keep tax and accounting records, enforce our Terms, and respond to lawful requests.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent or trade our customer lists. We share information in these ways:
- Payment processing: WooPayments and Stripe receive billing details, order amounts, and IP address to process payments and screen for fraud.
- Production and fulfillment partners: our print-on-demand manufacturers receive your name, shipping address, phone or email if needed for delivery, and the items ordered, so they can make and pack your order. They may use this information only to fulfill our orders.
- Shipping carriers: carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx receive your name, address, and contact details to deliver your package.
- Email service: Mailchimp (Intuit) stores your name, email address, and order or cart activity so we can send emails and manage unsubscribes.
- Advertising: Meta Platforms receives data about your activity on our Site through the Meta Pixel (see Section 5).
- Website and technology providers: our hosting, security, backup, and analytics providers process data on our behalf to keep the Site running.
- Legal and business transfers: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business.
4. “Sale” and “Sharing” Under State Privacy Laws
Some state privacy laws define “sharing” or “selling” personal information broadly to include making data available to advertising partners for ads based on your activity across websites, even when no money is exchanged. Our use of the Meta Pixel may fall within that definition. Through it, we make the following categories available to Meta for advertising purposes:
- Identifiers: IP address and online identifiers, such as cookie IDs and hashed email addresses if you provide one;
- Commercial information: products viewed, added to cart, and purchased;
- Internet activity: pages visited and interactions with our Site.
We do not use payment card data for advertising and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16. To opt out of this sharing, email support@waggerswagger.store with the subject “Opt Out of Sharing”, and see the cookie and ad choices in Section 5.
5. Cookies, the Meta Pixel, and Your Choices
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies: needed for the Site to work, such as keeping items in your cart (for example, WooCommerce session and cart cookies), and for login and security. These cannot be turned off in our Site.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the Site.
- Advertising cookies and the Meta Pixel: record actions like viewing a product, adding to cart, and purchasing, so we can measure ads and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Your choices:
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some Site features, like the shopping cart, may not work without them.
- Ad preferences: you can manage how Meta uses data for ads in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and opt out of interest-based ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info).
- Opt out of sharing: use the email request in Section 4.
- Do Not Track: some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for responding to it, the Site does not change how it collects or uses information when it receives that signal.
6. Email Communications
- Marketing emails: we send these through Mailchimp. Every marketing email identifies us as the sender, includes our mailing address, and contains an unsubscribe link. We process unsubscribe requests promptly, and no later than 10 business days.
- Abandoned-cart emails: these are sent only to people who entered their email at checkout. Each contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to stop them.
- Order and service emails: we may still send you messages about orders, shipping, returns, and your account, even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
- No text-message marketing: we do not send promotional texts. We use your phone number only for delivery notices and to contact you about an order problem.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (including those in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other states) may give you these rights:
- Know and access: to confirm whether we process your information and to receive a copy.
- Delete: to ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions such as tax and fraud-prevention records.
- Correct: to ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Opt out: of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising (see Section 4), and of profiling where applicable.
- Portability: to receive your information in a portable format where available.
- Non-discrimination: we will not deny you products, charge different prices, or lower service quality for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email support@waggerswagger.store with the subject “Privacy Rights Request,” your name, the email address used for your orders, and the right you want to use. To protect you, we will verify your identity by matching details you give us to our records, such as a recent order number. We respond within 45 days, and may extend once by another 45 days where the law allows, with notice to you. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our email within 60 days, and we will respond within the time the law requires. You may also file a complaint with your state attorney general.
Authorized agents: you may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We will need your signed permission and may still verify your identity directly.
Sensitive information: we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by state privacy laws, other than payment details processed by our payment provider to complete your purchase.
California Shine the Light: California residents may ask once a year for information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing. Email us to make a request.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above:
- Orders and transaction records: up to seven years, for tax and accounting.
- Customer support records: about two years.
- Abandoned-cart data: removed from our reminder workflow within 90 days.
- Marketing subscribers: until you unsubscribe. We may remove profiles that have been inactive for 24 months.
- Your Content for personalized products: only as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle reprints and support requests, and meet legal requirements.
- Server and security logs: for up to twelve months.
We may keep information longer if required by law or to resolve disputes.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption of data sent between your browser and our Site, payment processing through PCI-compliant providers, regular software updates, and limiting access to personal information to people who need it. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our Site is for adults and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@waggerswagger.store and we will delete it.
11. Visitors Outside the United States
We operate in and ship only to the United States. If you visit the Site from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. We do not currently market to or accept orders from outside the United States.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to other websites, including social media pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a revised “Last Updated” date. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as a notice on the Site or an email. Please review this page periodically.
